About Us

Our Origins

In 2017, a group of twelve families set out to seek a different education for their children. The goal was to provide comprehensive education in a bullying-free environment where children could be happy while learning, happy when choosing a profession, and happy when forming a new family. The founders undertook the necessary research to understand and implement unconventional educational approaches with a cutting-edge focus, not only in academics but also applying avant-garde educational schemes that prioritize being over doing, and consider the human being holistically in body, mind, and spirit.

Personalized Books

At Arca, teaching revolves around each child individually, even in their workbooks. Many of the books we use at Arca are comic-style books - much more fun - where the characters are the children themselves.

Second Language Teaching

When we began planning Proyecto Arca, we prioritized teaching English in a more effective, practical, and experiential way. We decided NOT to use conventional programs or textbooks based on tedious repetitions, decontextualized approaches, and demotivating texts focused on grammar. In our opinion, that is not the effective way to master a second or third language.

Instead, we learn real-world English according to the needs they will face as professionals. For example, some of our middle school students have published books based on research similar to what they will conduct in their university education and even at the graduate level.
