What Is Proyecto Arca?
Proyecto Arca is NOT a school incorporated into the Mexican educational system (SEP). It is a program incorporated into the United States educational system. We follow our own program and are affiliated with an international institution in the United States, which means our children receive dual validation: in the United States (if they wish to continue their studies there) and in Mexico through a simple equivalency process (individually completed by each family).

Independent Alternative Educational Model for Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School
Proyecto Arca is an alternative education model. It's a learning community we created for our own children. Over the years, many more families have joined this project to provide their children with a more comprehensive education that is less utilitarian and free from bullying.

Who Can Join Proyecto Arca?
Although Arca is NOT a school open to the public, each year we welcome a small number of children whose families share our vision and desire a better education and an environment where their children can be happy while learning.

Our Emphasis
Alongside academic training, we prioritize the development of the child's being and character. This is why:
- We do not tolerate bullying
- Each student learns at their own pace
- We don't have honor rolls, grades, or written exams
- We don't compete; we collaborate
- We practice the Golden Rule
- We are a family
- Our groups are very small (7 to 12 students maximum)
- Our students from preschool through elementary do NOT have cell phones
- We use technology for useful purposes
- At Proyecto Arca, we are happy while learning

Principles and Values of Proyecto Arca
Creationist Interpretation
We have a creationist approach, not evolutionist. We have chosen NOT to be a religious school of any kind. We believe that religious teaching belongs to the parents of each family. However, we teach that we were created by God and that He has a purpose for the life of each child.

The Golden Rule
We treat others as we wish to be treated.
Individual Learning Pace
Each student learns at their own pace, therefore, teaching is individualized.

Desire to Learn and Share Knowledge
At Arca, we love to learn, and we enjoy sharing what we've learned with our peers.
Striving for Excellence
We want to do things well, and then improve on what we've already done well.
Collaboration Instead of Competition
We don't seek to arrive before our peers. We wish to arrive together.
